Throughout the year, we’ve run events, fundraisers, and donation drives. We’ve collected litter, gathered winter coats, supported local sports teams, and walked for charity. It’s been a busy year! Here’s a look back at what we’ve achieved together.
Twilight Walk for the ellenor Hospice 🧡
In September, the team took part in ellenor’s Twilight Walk alongside more than 1,300 others. We raised over £1,500. It was a fantastic night, run seamlessly. 🌙
Pottery Class
In November, Emma and Hollie joined the Wonky Pottery Class at ellenor. It was great fun and helped raise money and awareness for an incredible cause.
Gravesham Food Bank
Throughout the year, Steph, Emma, and Sarah visited ASDA and Morrisons to collect food and raise awareness of the amazing work done by Gravesham Food Bank. The generosity of the public was inspiring. ❤️
Our Christmas Stocking Campaign
We recently visited Gravesend Rugby Club to host a community raffle, with all prizes generously donated by local businesses. Thanks to the amazing support from everyone who took part, we raised over £1,000! Every penny is being used to buy gifts for children’s stockings that will be given to families through Gravesend Foodbank, and any remaining proceeds will go toward purchasing essential food items.
Winter Coat Appeal
For the sixth year running, we teamed up with Agents Giving and Only A Pavement Away to help keep Gravesham’s children, homeless individuals, and most vulnerable residents warm during winter.
Our donations supported two incredible local charities: Our children’s coats went to Hive Hope. This amazing charity provides food, clothing and support for those in need in Northfleet and the surrounding areas. Our adult coats went to The House of Mercy on Windmill Street, which provides support for single homeless people in Gravesend.
Litter Picks
Gravesend is our community, and keeping it clean helps everyone feel proud of where they live. Our team regularly heads out litter picking with Gravesham Borough Council — from Cervia Way to Windmill Hill and Hall Road. ✨
Gravesend Rugby Club
Sport brings people together, builds confidence, and improves wellbeing. That’s why we proudly support Gravesend Women’s Rugby Team, helping raise their profile and create more opportunities for women and girls to get involved. 🏉
Cobham Football Team
We have proudly supported the Cobham Colts Under 12s for six years. They’ve reached the league final in Sittingbourne for the last two years - winning one of them! 🏆 They’re a brilliant group of boys, and we couldn’t be prouder of the young adults they’re becoming. Here’s to another great season!
